X-Wing: Why should I fly – 8 First Order TIE Fighters?
First in a new series of articles where Kris will be looking at an X-Wing squad, what are its strengths, where does it struggle and ultimately why you should give it a try!

Monthly Star Wars X-Wing Tournament
The calendar has turned a page and so it is once again time to test your mettle on the field of battle. Or on the field of a battle mat in any case. Its time for our monthly Star Wars X-Wing tournament!. There is a $5.00 entry fee and we will be playing Standard Dog Fight Events.
Come out on Saturday June 16th and bring your 100 point Squad and have some fun, you don’t need to bring a copy of every card, just make sure you have a printed list as a courtesy to your opponent.
- Player Meeting at 10:00 – 10:30
- Pairings 10:30 – 10:45
- Round 1 10:45 – 12:00
- Lunch 12:00 – 1:15
- Round 2 1:15 – 2:30
- Round 3 2:45 – 4:00

X-Wing Flight Academy
The Sentry Box will be hosting a X-Wing Miniatures Flight Academy on Saturday February 13th starting at 10am.
This event will be an opportunity for new or novice X-Wing Miniatures players to learn the game and discuss tactics, ships and squad building techniques with some of the areas more experienced players.
If you want to check out the game we will have squads available and if you have your own miniatures then bring them out and talk and game with other players to expand your knowledge of the game and its tactics.

Star Wars X-Wing mat restock
The Sentry Box has received a small restock of Fantasy Flight Games’ 3′ x 3′ gaming mats for the X-Wing Miniatures game. Come get one while we still have them.
X-Wing Miniatures Player of the Year Event #1
Yesterday was the first event in The Sentry Box’s X-Wing Miniatures Player of the Year Event series. We had twenty two avid players show up and play five rounds of X-Wing Dogfight action.
