New arrivals for Monday April 11th, 2016

Its been a month since our last new arrivals post. No-one tell Gord! He’ll break my legs faster than Paul Newman will beat a recalcitrant corn farmer. Lets not dwell on the potential threat to my mobility and instead look at all the new-pretty we have in the store.

Once you get used to working here at The Sentry Box (motto – Suggest a good motto and win a free backrub!) you get accustomed to the pace of releases and the arrival of new products. But even as jaded as I have become, and it is quite sad really, I was surprised that we already received the first expansion for the B-Sieged game. Despite reeling from that surprise arrival, I was able to chronicle the other fine, fine products that we received at the store today.

Another Wednesday comes and with it the fresh, crisp smell of new arrivals at The Sentry Box. Either that or Gord has opened a laundry in the Military section without telling us. Hopefully he doesn’t put too much starch in the Pathfinder Flip Mats this time.

World of Yo-Ho is a fantasy game of adventure and piracy on the high seas. It’s a new type of game, for 2 to 4 players, that combines the tangible and social pleasure of a board game with the interactive mechanics of a video game. Become the most famous pirate of this parallel world full of intelligent animals, lost islands, and wild magic. The app is free and brings hilarious animations and sound effects to your battles and explorations. Though gameplay is more dynamic with a phone, the game includes material to allow you to play with four phones, or even just one phone.

Star Realms game mat restock

The Sentry Box has received a restock of each of the four Star Realms game mats. I know what you are saying. “Restock? But I’ve never seen these in the store!”

Technically we have had them in. Once. When the game was first released. And we got one each. Of only two of the versions. Which were promptly sold. So if you, like me, have never seen then for sale before then rejoice! And head on down and grab one before we run out. Again.
