Ragnarocks is a 2-player area control game designed by Gord! – the designer of Santorini and Santorini: New York. In Norse mythology, humans exist in the land of Midgard – a place in the center of the world tree and connected to the nine realms. Among these nine realms live gods and goddesses, serpents and spirits, and all manner of mythical and mystical creatures.
In Ragnarocks you take on the role of a Viking clan using Runestones to mark your clan’s claims of land. In the advanced game, your clan worships one of these powerful beings from another realm who lends you their power to help you outwit rivals and claim territories for your clan. At the end of the game, the clan who controls the most territory in Midgard wins!
A player’s turn consists of a move phase and a summoning phase. During the move phase you move one of your active Vikings any number of spaces in a straight line. During the summoning phase you summon a runestone and place it on any space along a path following a straight line from the location of the Viking you moved. Whenever a summoning creates an encloses area containing only vikings of a single clan, that area becomes settles and belongs to the player whose clan occupies it. When all vikings have settled, the player who controls the most territory wins.

Long ago, a splendid streak of crimson fell from the sky and carved the valley from the earth. The foliage that the light touched grew wild and fierce, and the wildlife grew larger and more fearsome. Life prospered in the vale.
From distant lands, members of many cultures converged, drawn by the mystery and allure of the red star and the verdant realm it created. They settled there, distancing themselves at first. The soil was hearty, perfect for crops; the rock was rich with mineral deposits begging to be mined, and the very land itself seemed eager to be shaped.
On warm summer nights, the velvet sky became streaked with the scarlet light of meteor showers. The settlers found that, under these lights, their crafting projects finished more quickly and with greater results! Before long, the people began to co-operate, sharing their wares and knowledge with one another.
Together under an evening meteor shower, they founded a shared township — one that valued knowledge and craft. The township was named Splendence after the valley that brought them all together.
In the centuries that followed, a red substance the people named material could be found after meteor showers. Artisans learned to craft using the substance, which lent magical qualities to their works. These works, called Artifice, were established which would catapult the township into an industrial revolution.
The Artisans of Splendent Vale is a cooperative adventure game set in a magical and unique land. As a troupe of artisans, you will explore the beauty of the Splendent Vale while honing your individual crafts. Overcome challenges during tactical action scenes played out on specialized grid maps, then experience individual interludes to build your story, separately from the group’s tale. Teamwork and careful strategy will be crucial during these encounters.

When the zombie plague strikes, not even Earth’s mightiest heroes are safe. Marvel Zombies is a cooperative board game for 1 to 6 players, based on the core mechanics of the smash hit Zombicide series, bringing non-stop zombie action to the Marvel universe. The original art by comics legend Marco Checchetto is brought to life in amazing game pieces depicting the iconic Marvel characters in glorious (and often gory) detail.

Behold, Andromeda’s Edge: A dazzling, uncharted region of space on the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy. Littered with the modular debris of the precursor civilization, patrolled by malicious extragalactic raiders, and bordered by dense nebulae, The Edge is a last resort for the brave and foolhardy who seek a new life beyond the oppressive reach of the Lords of Unity.
In this game, you lead a desperate faction seeking to build a new civilization on Andromeda’s Edge. You begin with only a space station, a few ships, and a handful of resources. By carefully placing your ships, you will gather resources, claim moons, acquire modules to add to your station, populate planets and build developments on them. You will battle opponents and compete with others to ascend the progress tracks: Science, Industry, Commerce, Civilization and Supremacy.
On your turn, you either launch a starship or return your ships to your station. Launching sends one of your starships to a region of Andromeda, either collecting resources from planetary systems or taking actions at Alliance Bases. If the region is occupied by your opponents or fearsome raiders, face off in a dice battle, with Supremacy on the line but where strategic manipulation can turn a loss into a reward. Returning to your station allows you to activate your engine, using the modules you’ve acquired to generate energy, gain resources and carry out actions.
Throughout the game you will build up your unique faction, building developments (Observatories, Factories, Spaceports, Cities and Obelisks) and gaining station modules which move you up the progress tracks. Advancement on the tracks is rewarded both during mid-game events and at the conclusion, and is the key to victory.

Phantom Epoch is a fully cooperative 1–4 player tactical combat roleplaying board game with a persistent, choice-driven, 40+ mission campaign that blends sci-fi and fantasy themes.
In a galaxy where the secrets of interstellar travel have been lost to time and primitive peoples war over ancient technology, players are thrust into missions to stop an encroaching threat. As they play through missions on numerous planets with a variety of biomes, they will discover the true nature of their enemy, and will have the opportunity to unearth the rich story of the world of Phantom Epoch.
A wide range of character choices, including human and alien species which can be combined with a diverse set of classes, allows players to create and grow their own characters to match their own play style. Each mission has its own map, objectives, enemies, and challenges. Every map has a completely unique layout. No two missions will be the same, and players will have to adjust their strategies accordingly.
Outside of missions, players will need to gather resources to repair and restore functionality to the starship that serves as their headquarters. Doing so will unlock facilities to improve their characters with upgraded equipment, attributes, and skills. As secrets from the past are revealed, they will gain combat knowledge in the form of branching advanced classes that allow players to further customize and empower their characters.
Before missions, players prepare their equipment and Action cards that they’ll bring with them on a mission. During a mission, players and adversaries simultaneously select Action cards at the start of each round. The selected cards determine the turn order for the round. During their turns the players and adversaries play the selected action cards one at a time. The campaign is made up of 30+ missions, and ends when the final story mission is played. As a fully cooperative game, players win a mission together by completing the mission objective, or lose together when all players are defeated or the objective is failed.

Batman: Escape from Arkham Asylum is a semi-cooperative dungeon crawl for 1 to 5 players in which the Super Villains of the Batman universe are the protagonists. This is one of the few games where you must defeat Batman, and that gives the player the opportunity to play as dozens of characters. The players will put themselves in the shoes of the most iconic Super Villains of Gotham City: The Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, The Penguin, Bane, Poison Ivy, and The Scarecrow. The goal? Escape from an iconic institution of Gotham City: Arkham Asylum.
Batman: Escape from Arkham Asylum offers the funny and wild vision of the comics of the Batman universe and introduces a novel element: confronting Batman. Players must join forces to achieve their common goal. However, each one of them will have their own hidden objectives, which can range from escaping on their own or sowing as much chaos as possible in the asylum, something they must achieve to gain an advantage over their companions and be the one who finally wins the victory.
The players choose a Super Villain and play their turns one after the other. In each of these turns, the players can perform different actions such as moving around on the board, attacking their enemies with crazy weapons, searching rooms or crafting tools to use in their escape. The game ends when the players escape or when everyone is defeated by the forces of order that run Arkham, from the tough guards of the complex to, of course, the Dark Knight himself.

Manhattan Project: War Machine – Our country is preparing for war. As its leader, your job is to grow and develop our nation to become the largest military power in the world. Deploy a skilled workforce, build an efficient production engine, and provide enough supplies to ensure that we march toward victory!
Earn victory points by producing and stockpiling military goods in your warehouse, acquiring structure cards and action dice, completing the goal of your achievement tile, expanding your nation’s infrastructure, and cleaning up nuclear contamination in it.
The most effective way to feed the war machine is to deploy the right combination of works, build structures that interact well with one another, and generate and use energy efficiently.
The game is over at the end of the designated round according to player count. Add the total of Victory Points on several elements to determine the winner! In the case of a tie, the player who has the most total resources remaining breaks the tie and wins the game!

You lead a grand civilization at the height of its influence, but can you save it from collapse? In Empire’s End, 2-4 players compete to keep calamity at bay. Empire’s End marries the intuitive and elegant mechanism of reverse-bidding with engine-building, long-term planning, and strategic depth. The result is a game with a quick tempo, abundant tension, and multiple challenging paths to victory.
Players begin with a civilization at the height of its power. Play proceeds through a series of phases, varying as you progress through the game. During the Disaster phase, players face a common threat such as famine, a flood, or barbarians. The player who ends the bidding must take the disaster, which devastates one of their territories.
With each disaster that befalls an empire, its people grow in wisdom and resilience. In the style of the modern classic game No Thanks, resources bid by all players will end up in the hands of the player who ultimately takes the disaster card. That player also gains a new ability, an innovation that reflects their empire’s ability to adapt in the face of challenging times.
Each turn, players move along a progress track that dictates whether they will face a disaster or another type of phase. Players can gain new resources during Production phases, rebuild lost territories during Industry phases, and challenge one another during Military phases. At the end of the progress track, the game is concluded and the winner is the civilization with the greatest number of victory points. Intact territories contribute points, but innovations and military successes can provide alternative ways to win.

Welcome, city planners! Design the best city block using patterns from the new and exciting “Cube Shaker”. You’ll place a mix of tiles to help grow the thriving city. The best design wins the game!
Shake That City is a family puzzly tile-laying game for 1-4 players, that plays under an hour! The game is played over a series of rounds. The active player shakes the Cube Shaker and presses its slider to reveal a 3×3 pattern, based on which they need to place the corresponding building tiles of a single color of their choice on their board. The building tiles correspond to roads, factories, shops, parks and of course, homes. The other players then pick any building color other than the one the active player picked, then place matching colored tiles in the matching pattern on their board. Players earn points for tile-placement combinations and for the completed bonus point tiles around the edge of their board.
• Roads wants to connect to an edge of the board.
• Factories wants to be next to other factories and roads.
• Homes want to be placed in clusters that are as small as possible — the smallest being a single tile — so long as they’re not next to a factory.
• Parks wants to be next to homes and factories.
• Shops score increasingly more the closer they are placed to the city center, but if they’re not placed on an edge, they need to be adjacent to a road connected to the board’s edge in order to score. Without road access, you’ll have no products to sell!
At game’s end, players earn points for tile-placement combinations and for the completed bonus point tiles around the edge of their board.

Arrakis is a desert world seemingly dead and barren, yet here lies the most important resource in the galaxy: Spice. Without Spice, space travel is impossible, and humans become little clusters on isolated planets. The noble House that controls Arrakis and the production of Spice wields great power. The Emperor gave Arrakis to House Atreides, but then he conspired to replace them with their old rivals, House Harkonnen. Baron Harkonnen crushed the Atreides in a treasonous attack, and now rules the planet with an iron fist. But Paul and Jessica, heirs to House Atreides, are alive, and are mounting a rebellion with the aid of the formidable Fremen, the mysterious inhabitants of the barren expanses of Arrakis.
Only one House will emerge victorious from the coming struggle, while the other will be lost in the desert sands. It’s into this grim reality that players will be thrust in Dune: War for Arrakis.
In this asymmetrical strategy game, players fight for control of the planet, maneuvering troops like the Fremen, the Fedaykin, and the fearsome Sardaukar, while sending Spice harvesters into the deep desert, daring to challenge the great Sandworms. The game features an action dice system with numerous event cards that will enable players to retell the Dune saga differently with each playthrough.

Traveling merchants, diplomats, philosophers, soldiers, and vagabonds approach the gates, eager to exchange their knowledge and services! Control of Rome’s borders means control of untold riches entering the city.
In Roads of Fortune, players are rewarded for maintaining majority control over the edges of the play area by unlocking powerful new abilities on a variable set of Road boards. As the capstone expansion to the Foundations of Rome experience, the Roads are compatible with any combination of existing modules, including the Gardens of Ceres solo challenge. Roads of Fortune also features a number of quality life improvements, such as component tray upgrades and new player aids.

Your ancient alien civilization is leaving its dying planet in search of a new homeland. The promised land is represented by Gaia, which is home to the magnificent human civilization of Atlantis. But beware, other Houses (factions) of your civilization also have the same goal and only one will be able to dominate Gaia!
Anunnaki: Dawn of the Gods is a 4x eurogame by Simone Luciani and Danilo Sabia, set in an ancient dystopian past, where mythology and science-fiction come together. Each player represents a different House whose rulers are viewed by terrestrial population as gods. Players build bases, recruit troops, embody gods, explore the territory, develop their own technology, sign trade contracts, defeat local dominions and other players’ armies, trying to conquer Atlantis, which owns huge treasures.
Different actions will provide a certain number of immediate Victory Points. Moreover, random setup goals will provide you with sizable Victory Point rewards at the end of the game, based on specific conditions. In the end, the player with the most VPs will be the winner.
In addition to having a strong dose of controllability (the luck factor is minimal), the game features an innovative starred action-selection-system that confronts players with interesting choices: players can reincarnate their gods by performing their actions in a precise sequence, on pre-established paths of their starred player board, or they can give up some deities, jumping freely from one action to another of their board, to choose from time to time the situationally best actions.

It’s been 175 years since the unspeakable war. Since this horrific event, humanity has left control of the Solar System’s vast resources to just one governmental organisation, the United Federation of the Solar System. A vast and corrupt inter-global governance system set up in the ashes of the destruction. There is endless wealth available in the galaxy and only the most ruthless will prosper.
Solar 175 is an epic, euro-style, legacy experience for 1-5 players set in a dystopian, sci-fi future. The gameplay utilizes an innovative fusion of bag-building, area control and worker placement.

Lost amidst the surreal and bizarre unknowns of the far reaches of the cosmos, your crew of explorers must pull together to discover the resources necessary to survive the long journey home.
Unsettled is a 2-4 player cooperative survival adventure set in the wondrous and unnerving fringes of uncharted space. There are no enemies and no combat, only an environment where every step, every breath, every particle around you could mean immediate, terrifying, death. Enemies are the least of your concerns.
In these incredible conditions you must complete a series of tasks necessary to your continued survival. Perhaps the water reclamation system on the ship needs repair, or (as usual) food supplies are running low. Before you lies a strange alien landscape – it’s up to you to complete these tasks using…whatever you find out there.
Each time you play you will have a different combination of survival tasks to complete and the things you discover (and their weird properties) will be different as well. So while you always start out knowing what problems you need to solve you have no idea how you’re going to use the world before you to do so (or what the world is going to do to you while you try).
As you explore the environment, encountering wild & unique opportunities along the way, you will work closely with the rest of your crew to achieve your goal of continued existence. The only thing you can be sure of is each other; lose that trust and you’ll lose all hope of survival.

Starting the 2nd round, a Fate card is revealed each round to trigger an event that may affect all players.

Avatar Legends: The RPG is a heroic fantasy game set in the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra in which you and your friends take on the role of young heroes from across the Four Nations who have joined together to make the world a better place. It’s a game for people of all ages who want to look at the world beyond the scope of the existing stories and explore the meaningful actions heroes take for the good of others.
Above all, however, it’s a game about balance. Your hero fights for balance in the world, but also wrestles with maintaining balance within while trying to achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves. The villains of Avatar Legends: The RPG are never simply monsters, never mere antagonists who must be struck down by blasts of fire; they are instead people with their own desires, personal struggles, and goals, no matter how misguided.
Thus, achieving true balance isn’t easy. Whether you play a bender, martial artist, merchant, or craftsperson, you’re constantly being pulled between two important principles in your life as you face problems in the world. If you delve too deeply into one or the other—forgiveness over action, force over care, tradition over progress—it throws you off-balance, and you must work to regain your composure and sense of self.
Luckily, you’re not alone in this journey. Together with your fellow heroes, you’ll soar on the backs of flying bison, defeat devious foes, and discover the true meaning of balance…perhaps even help to save the world!

Mosaic: A Story of Civilization is a Civilization-Building game from Glenn Drover, designer of Age of Empires III, Railways of the World, Sid Meier’s Civilization: The Boardgame, and Raccoon Tycoon.Mosaic is an action selection game. On your turn, you will perform one of seven actions:
- Learn a New Technology (select a card from the Technology Offer)
- Found a New City or Town, or Build a Project (select a card from the Build Offer and pay the cost in stone, ideas, and population)
- Build a Wonder (select one of the available Wonder Tiles and pay Stone and Food)
- Recruit or Move Military Units (pay money and add Military Units or move those that you already have)

- Trade or Tax to raise Money, which is the Universal Currency (select a card from the Trade/ Tax offer)
All Technologies and Projects give your Civilization unique abilities, as well as symbols that represent the increase in one of the 9 Components of Civilization:
- Science – All learning
- Economy
- Food Production
- Population/ Health
- Building
- Culture
- Government
- Military/ Empire
- Urbanization
Acquiring these Components is important in creating the unique mosaic of your civilization. They are used as prerequisites for many new technologies, as well as for scoring. Also, by pursuing specialization in one or more Civilization Components, you may be able to claim a ‘Golden Age’ of that type.
As the game goes on and your Civilization grows, scoring cards are eventually revealed from the four decks. Each time a scoring card is revealed, your Civilization will score for each region that you dominate with your cities and military units.
After the third scoring card is revealed, there is one final turn and the game ends. You will then score for your cities and towns, your wonders, projects, and golden ages, and for all of your cards that score for your unique Civilization Components.

Frosthaven is the story of a small outpost far to the north of the capital city of White Oak, an outpost barely surviving the harsh weather as well as invasions from forces both known and unknown. There, a group of mercenaries at the end of their rope will help bring back this settlement from the edge of destruction.
Not only will they have to deal with the harsh elements, but there are other, far more dangerous threats out in the unforgiving cold as well. There are Algox, the bigger, more yeti-like cousins of the Inox, attacking from the mountains; Lurkers flooding in from the northern sea; and rumors of machines that wander the frozen wastes of their own free will. The party of mercenaries must face all of these perils, and perhaps in doing so, make peace with these new races so they can work together against even more sinister forces.
Frosthaven is a standalone adventure from the designer and publisher of Gloomhaven that features sixteen new characters, three new races, more than twenty new enemies, more than one hundred new items, and a new, 100-scenario campaign.
In addition to having the well-known combat mechanisms of Gloomhaven, Frosthaven will feature much more to do outside of combat, such as numerous mysteries to solve, a seasonal event system to live through, and player control over how this ramshackle village expands, with each new building offering new ways to progress.
Characters and items from Gloomhaven will be usable in Frosthaven, and vice versa:
As revealed during PAX 2020, Frosthaven will be interchangeable with the original Gloomhaven board game. To an extent, anyway. Namely, you can use Gloomhaven’s characters in Frosthaven and vice versa. What’s more, some of the first game’s items will become available throughout the sequel.
Frosthaven has a whole new set of items but there is a mechanic for bringing items over from ‘Gloomhaven’. However, as it is a remote location, these products get imported and are not there as standard. Resources are much more valuable and you have to build items through a crafting system rather than just buy them.

The Everrain is a cooperative exploration game where players must each assemble their own motley crew of spirited mariners and take to the dark seas of a world drowning under the curtain of an endless and oppressive storm that threatens to drown the world.
The ancient Old Ones of the sea have awoken and begun to reshape the world in their image, and unless something is done all will drown in the rising tides. Players must explore this dark and foreboding world, completing quests, expanding their crew, upgrading their ship and investigating the source of the Everrain before it is too late.
Starting from humble beginnings, each player must traverse the seas of the Everrain to discover new places. The board is randomly generated from modular tiles, leading to a completely unique setup each time the game is played.
Each player begins with their own ship and a skeleton crew, but more experienced crew can be found in the darkly lit taverns of port towns, saved from shipwrecks and even be rewarded for completing quests.
The game is progressed by completing quests which can trigger important plot points, but players must be wary as the Old God’s minions also seek to advance their own agendas. Combat can take place from ship to ship and even aboard a player’s vessel, so each crew member must be ready for almost anything!
