Aristeia! new player friendly Tournament

Come one come all  to The Sentry Box on Sunday December 15th from 1 to 6 pm for this once-in-2019 opportunity!

The Aristo’s will finally hit Calgary in a hit that’s sure to be the best of the year. Team managers, please enlist your teams and head on down to the Sentry Box at 13h00 hours on Sunday, December 15th, 2019. We will be there until 18h00 and will crown the top manager after 3 rounds. To start things off, we will run the Assault scenario, then off to Scorched Earth, and finishing off with a blood-beating round of Carnage. Be prepared as the Zlavin mod will be in effect. The completely new managers are totally welcome and encouraged to participate. The community in Calgary is very new, and there’s no time like the present to be involved!

Saga: Age of Magic Demo and Game Day

Come down to The Sentry Box on Saturday Dec 14th from 11 am to 4 pm for a Saga historical and Age of Magic demo and game day. There will be historical and fantasy armies available to try out as well as other gamers ready to take to the field of battle.

If you are unfamiliar with the Saga system or the new Age of Magic expansion there will be people available to show you the games.

 

What have The Sentry Box staff been up to – Dec 2-8

Jordan painted the Pit Devil from Wizkids’ newest wave of Deep Cuts miniatures! “I painted him up with a pretty classic “fire demon” theme. Considering he sells for less than 10 bucks, this model packs a load of detail and looks pretty excellent. I put him on one a Citadel base rather than the one that he came with because the Citadel bases have a natural “pedestal” raising on them, whereas the mini itself came with a really flat base that didn’t quite do him justice.”
