What have the Sentry Box staff been playing this week?

A little quieter but here is a rundown of the games our staff have been playing this past week.

Dice Forge – Dice Forge is a development game featuring innovative mechanics based on dice with removable faces. In this dice crafting game, players build their own dice. Roll your dice, manage your resources, complete ordeals before your opponents and explore multiple winning strategies.

Frogriders – Frogriders is a tactical family game in which you collect the custom-molded plastic figures by making them leap over one another. Each of the collected Frogriders enables you to keep it for scoring or return it to the tribe’s village in order to use its special ability.

Kingdomino – In Kingdomino, you are a Lord seeking new lands in which to expand your kingdom. You must explore all the lands, wheat fields, lakes, and mountains in order to spot the best plots.

Tzolk’in – Tzolkin: The Mayan Calendar presents a new game mechanism: dynamic worker placement. Players representing different Mayan tribes place their workers on giant connected gears, and as the gears rotate they take the workers to different action spots.

NMBR9 – Numbers aren’t worth anything in NMBR 9 unless they’re off the ground floor and looking down from above.

Trajan – Set in ancient Rome, Trajan is a development game in which players try to increase their influence and power in various areas of Roman life such as political influence, trading, military dominion and other important parts of Roman culture.

Ticket to Ride – Players collect cards of various types of train cars they then use to claim railway routes in North America. Ticket to Ride has become the epitome of a “gateway game” — simple enough to be taught in a few minutes, and with enough action and tension to keep new players involved and in the game for the duration.

Infinity – Infinity is a game with 28mm high metal miniatures that simulates combat and special operations in a science fiction environment with Manga aesthetics

Space Empires – Space Empires is a game in the finest tradition of 4X space games – eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. Each player builds up a space empire and uses it to conquer the other players.
